You will see there is an unrecognized device, right click it, go to properties menu, choose update driver, it will automatically search and find it over the internet and the problem will be fixed. Then plug the lock into your computer's USB port and open Device Manager from the Control Panel. If the drivers that come with the installation file do not work for you (if the red light does not turn on when you insert the lock), first remove all HASP and Sentinel related installations from the Add/Remove Programs menu. After doing some research, I found that there is a simple solution. I only experienced that the windows I installed with Bootcamp could not find the HASP drivers.

If you install a virtual machine in a Mac, it can be a problem because both Mac OS X and Windows will run at the same time. The main difference between the two methods is: If you install windows using Bootcamp, only windows (or Mac OSX) is running on your computer, so it's unlikely that you'll have any performance issues.
